American rapper and US presidential candidate Kanye West has been perfectly created using the Cyberpunk 2077 character creation tools.
Some lucky people have got their hands on Cyberpunk 2077 early and although there have been no major leaks, some people are teasing the incredibly power of the game’s character creation tools.
If you spend enough time creating your character in Cyberpunk 2077 you can almost create whoever you want. We’ve heard report that some people perfectly recreated Battle Angel Alita and even Arnold Schwarzenegger as the Terminator.
One guy managed to make an ultra-realistic version of the popular American rapper and 2020 presidential candidate Kanye West.
Cyberpunk 2077 boasts a “deep customisation system” that allows players to fully customize the look of V.
This new system offers an extensive character creator allowing players to customize skin type, hairstyle, eyes, eyebrows, mouths, jaws, ears, 8 bits of “cyberware” (as well as no cyberware), scars, tattoos, piercings, teeth, eye makeup, lip makeup plus off, blemishes, nipples, body tattoos, body scars, penis types, vagina option, and pubic hair.
Players are also able to change their hair colour, including eyebrows, beard, eyes, and even pubic hair. The game also features sliders that can be used to customise the size of your genitalia, breast and buttocks. Choosing between voices determines what gender the player character is, and the genitalia also determines what characters can be romanced.
Despite it being one of the most inclusive character creation systems ever seen in a videogame, not everybody is happy with it. Some even think it is highly problematic and transphobic.
“Voice pitch is a sensitive issue in the trans community and with transition as HRT has no bearing on your voice when transitioning as a trans woman, or toward transfeminine identities.” A concerned trans individual shared on Reset Era.
“As a direct result it becomes something that many trans people are conscious of when they attempt to pass, as it’s an element that works against you when people frequently associate a deep voice to being a man, and a high voice to being a women.”
They concluded: “Your voice is as personal to you as anything else, and there are many trans people that would prefer to be able to feel comfortable using their real voice as opposed to putting in considerable effort toward changing it in the hope of better acceptance.”
