In a press briefing at the White House in Washington D.C. a staffer called for gamers to help fight the spread of COVID–19.

Gamers couldn’t believe their ears when they heard White House officials call for the expertise of tactical and technical thinkers who play videogames.

Donald Trump and his staff addressesd the corncerns of the spread of the “Chinese Coronavirus” while giving helpful advice on how to reduce the risk of contraction and how to potentially slow down the spread.

During the press briefing one of Trump’s staff took the stand and spoke directly to millienial gamers asserting they are some of the best minds that can help them look at solutions from a different angle.

“It may have been that the millenial generation, our largest generation, our future generation that will carry us through through for the next multiple decades,” the speaker said.

“Again, I’m going to call on that generation that’s part of that group that brought us innovation particularly throughout all of their ability to look around corners, and skip through games…”

The speaker then referenced the sort of thinking that finds Easter eggs and cheat codes in videogames by using the Super Mario Bros. warp zone as an example.

“I always went level by level, I didn’t realise you could go from level 3 to level 7 but that’s what they taught us. They taught us to look for things we don’t see. We need them to be healthy.” The speaker concluded.
