Dr. DisRespect is “done with Twitch” & drops a cryptic video after interview

Guy “Dr. DisRespect” Beahm confirmed that he’s ready to return, but he’s definitely “done with Twitch.” Cryptic new video hints he may have found a new home.

The Doc has done his first interview since his permanent Twitch ban and fans are hyped for his return… but there’s still no word on when and where, just speculation.

RUMOUR: Won’t stop until he’s dead,” James Charles plot against Shane exposed.

It’s been three weeks since the two-time was banned from Twitch and, up until now, nobody has had the foggiest about what really happened, not even The Doc himself.

Beahm’s publicist contacted PC Gamer earlier this week and offered them an interview with Dr. DisRespect. They jumped at the opportunity hoping it would shed some light on the mystery surrounding his ban and ultimately debunk some of the crazy speculation about his sudden disappearance.

Sadly, The Doc did not give insight on his ban and claimed that Twitch still had not told him why he was banned. He did, though, give his fans a shimmer of hope saying that he’d be returning soon, but definitely not to Twitch.

"Twitch needed a scapegoat," Dr Disrespect lashes out after ban

“It’s out of my hands, but I’m still in control,” Dr. DisRespect music video hints at return. Spotify, perhaps?

Guy “Dr. DisRespect” Beahm explained that he taking Twitch Interactive, Inc. to court over his ban, and that he’s “done with Twitch,” and will definitely not be return to that platform ever again. “I’m considering my options,” The Doc said when asked about which platform he would go with.

Beahm also added that he’s not interested in any kind of long-term exclusivity deal like he had with Twitch and would prefer to be a free agent and possible even stream from his official site championsclub.gg.

“Well, let’s just say all the cards are on the table. I’m more focused on just making sure whatever we do next, whether it’s a platform move or not, that it’s the right decision for the community and Champions Club that follows me. And that makes sense to what I want to continue to accomplish with this character in terms of taking things to the next level, and whether it’s streaming or outside of streaming. So it’s just being conscientious of that decision,” Herschel “Dr. DisRespect” Beahm told PC Gamer.

Beahm also said that he was no aware that he was about to ban during his last livestream and explained that his reaction had more to do with just how crazy 2020 had been.

Rod Berslau

Esports commentator Rod “Slasher” Berslau claims he knows why Dr. DisRespect got banned, says it is “serious” and fears “defamation suit,” but the two-time debunks it in PC Gamer interview.

“Things are strange right now, but we’ll get through this Champions Club,” were some of the last words spoken by Dr. DisRespect during his last livestream.

Guy Beahm concluded the interview by saying that, ESports commentator, Rod ‘Slasher’ Breslau remarks on his ban where nothing more than wild speculation and that it was “gut wrenching and disheartening.”

“I’m not interested in engaging in any of that stuff or that crazy speculation. I’ll say it again: I have a great community of loyal fans and I’m totally focused on just getting back to the Champions Club and delivering great, entertaining content.”

Dr. DisRespect shares a cryptic music video on Twitter.

Shortly after the Dr. DisRespect PC Gamer interview the official verified Twitter account of the two-time posted a cryptic video of himself in the falling rain, standing in front of his Lamborghini Aventador while the camera slowly zooms in.

An original 80s synth pop track accompanies the video where Dr. DisRespect sings: “It’s out of my hands, but I’m still in control It’s out of my hands, you can never take away the power of my throne.”

A Dr. DisRespect original song and music video? Could the rumours to be true? Will Guy “Dr. DisRespect” Beahm be among the original content creators on Spotify’s new video streaming service aptly named Spotify Gold which is set to launch on September 1st.

For the moment there has been no confirmation of where The Doc is heading, but the cryptic video he shared does imply that he will be returning very, very soon.
