J.K. Rowling has been a staunch supporter of the LGBTQ community, now they have turned on her because she supports a woman who got fired for holding the opinion that there are only two sexes.

A British woman lost her livelihood after claiming that there’s a clear biological difference between men and women and that — try as they might — you can’t completely transform.

Maya Forstater was fired from her job at the Centre for Global Development after she expressed her disapproval to British government proposal that would make it easier for transgender people to change their legal sex in a Tweet.

In response the LGBTQ community started a campaign to get #FireMaya trending and hounded her place of employment until her employers caved.

Lynched by LGBTQ community for opinion

Maya’s Tweet was removed from the platform for hateful conduct and her account was locked for 24 hours while thousands online celebrated the woman being out of job right before Christmas.

“I hope the b*** learned her lesson. Don’t f*** with us or we will LITERALLY ruin your life,” wrote one user.

“I hope we ruined her holidays, lol,” wrote antoher.

In response to the onslaught of harassment, Harry Potter author, J.K. Rowling — who has been a very vocal and staunch supporter of the LGBTQ community — replied showing her support for Maya.

Is J.K Rowling transphobic?

“Dress however you please. Call yourself whatever you like. Sleep with any consenting adult who’ll have you. Live your best life in peace and security,” Rowling tweeted.”But force women out of their jobs for stating that sex is real? #IStandWithMaya.”

Her tweet did not go down to well with some and vocal members of the LGBQT community are outraged and calling for the ‘cancellation’ of J.K. Rowling.

Is J.K. Rowling transphibic? Rowling is a Terf is trending on Twitter.

Many rallied under the J.K Rowling is a Terf and J.K. Rowling transphobic hashtags to lash out at the author.

J.K. Rowling’s tweet was not showing support of Maya’s opinions on sex but rather criticising how outrage culture demands the heads of those who hold an opinion that differs to them and how a movement that started to support woman is now destroying them.
