#JusticeForJohnnyDepp has been trending for a while and finally something has come out of it. Disney are interested in having him return for his iconic role in Pirates of the Caribbean.

In light of recent revelations regarding the Johnny Depp v. Amber Heard trial, it seems as Disney are ready to forgive Johnny Depp’s past an welcome him back to Pirates of the Caribbean.

Although some would argue that it should be the other way around and Johnny should be the one forgiving after dropping him based on unproven allegations, fans should be thrilled to hear that many executives are now lobbying to him back.

Disney reportedly want Johnny Depp to reprise his role as the charming pirate Captain Jack Sparrow in the 6th instalment of the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise. Did it have anything to do with #JusticeForJohnnyDepp trending?

Disney originally dropped Johnny Depp when Amber Heard accused the actor of being abusive. Controversial British tabloid followed her allegations up with an article calling the actor a ‘wife beater’.

Johnny Depp sued the British tabloid for defamation, but then the tabloid claimed to have obtained 70,000 of his private messages that their attorney claims, ‘were accidentally made available.’

The paper has been caught in two massive phone hacking scandals previously and are currently being sued by Prince Harry.
