People not convinced Pattinson can play The Batman after teaser

Warner Bros unveiled the teaser for The Batman movie starring Robert Pattinson as Bruce Wayne and fans think he can’t play the part.

DC fans are excited to see a detective-centric Batman film in production, but they are not so convinced that Robert Pattinson fits the bill Bruce Wayne.

NEWS: Russell Crowe sends out scary UNHINGED tweet.

Batman is supposed to be the world’s greatest detective, but we’ve simply seen him as a generic superhero with a lot of wealth in the latest movies. However, Matt Reeves, The Batman director, has promised to make a noir-esque film that honours the caped crusaders unparalleled detective skills.

There’s only one problem; after seeing the teaser, people are not convinced that Robert Pattinson is the right man for the role.

There was a lot of doubt when Matt Reeves and Warner Bros originally announced that they had cast Robert Pattinson as Bruce Wayne/Batman.

Initial concerns were mostly about the actor’s physique and his harsh criticism of “macho culture.” These concerns grew when Pattinson expressed he had no interest in buffing up for the role of batman.

Pattinson doesn't work out

Robert Pattinson didn’t work out at all for The Batman 2021.

During quarantine Robert Pattinson expressed his opinion on gym culture revealing that he finds a macho male physique problematic. “It sets a precedent,” Pattinson told CQ when they asked why he wasn’t bulking up during production downtime.

The teaser to the upcoming 2021 Batman has further reaffirmed these concerns from fans as Pattinson appears scrawny and malnourished in the video.

Angry Joe Vargas reacts to The Batman teaser

Joe Vargas (The Angry Joe Show) not impressed with Robert Pattinson’s Bruce Wayne.

Host of The Angry Joe Show, Joe Vargas, uploaded a video reaction to the teaser video on YouTube and shared many of the fan’s concerns.

“I just don’t see him as Bruce Wayne,” Vargas expressed in his reaction video.

His co-hosts agreed that, although he’s a great actor, Pattinson just didn’t have the build or the threatening presence to play Bruce Wayne/Batman.

“His jawline is the strongest part of his body,” co-host Alex joked while watching the trailer.

“He looks like he’s about to shoot up a school,” Vargas added.

The feedback for the trailer on YouTube has been overwhelmingly positive. Although not too much is revealed, a fitting cover of Nirvana’s Something In The Way plays while small clips from the movie are shown.

Paul Dano is unrecognisable as The Riddle in Matt Reeves’ The Batman.

Most people seem to be more excited to see a serious killer rendition of The Riddler who is played by Paul Dano (Little Miss Sunshine) and he is absolutely unrecognisable.

Matt Reeves’ The Batman starring a top billed cast that includes Robert Pattinson, Colin Farrell, and Andy Serkis is currently in production and set to premiere, only in theatres, sometimes in 2021.
