The former Californian Governor and all around bad-ass, Arnold Schwarzenegger, took to Reddit to tease the latest Terminator and talk about his beard in The Legend of Conan.

The 72 year old has accomplished a lot in his life; he’s been a professional body builder, author, business man, and even the Governor of California, but what this Austrian-American man is most known for is his iconic action roles.

Despite having reached the age of retirement, Schwarzenegger has no plans on walking away from the spotlight any time soon. Three movies and two TV shows from the actor have already been revealed to be in production, including a highly anticipated sequel to the cult-classic movie, Conan the Barbarian called The Legend of Conan.

Earlier today Arnold Schwarzenegger took to Reddit to give fans a glimpse of what he looks like in his upcoming film, Terminator: Dark Fate. Fans were quick to note that Schwarzenegger looked especially bad-ass with a beard with one user commenting, “Looking great with the beard here Arnold. Maybe let it grow and make a great Conan sequel please!” To which the actor replied, “I’m working on it. Meeting with John Milius made me very fired up.”

The Legend of Conan confirmed with John Milius
Schwarzenegger confirms The Legend of Conan

John Milius is a screenwriter and director who came to prominence in the 1970s, when he was associated with Francis Ford Coppola and the pre-Star Wars: Episode IV – A New Hope (1977) George Lucas. He has since been the creative mind behind epics such as Dirty Harry, Apocalypse Now and Clear and Present Danger.

In 2005 John Milius was supposed to write and direct King Conan: Crown of Iron but unfortunately the film was never made. Rest assured, Schwarzenegger’s comments reaffirms Milius’ involvement and that this highly anticipated film is definitely in production.

Schwarzenegger also took the time to give his fans some body building advice while he had time to spare. One Reddit user asked, “what kind of workout does a cybernetic organism enjoy?”

The film is currently titled The Legend of Conan and will be a direct continuation of Conan the Barbarian (1982), completely ignoring Conan the Destroyer (1984) as if that movie never happened.
