While Alison Morris was reporting the tragic death of Kobe and Gianna Bryant it sounded like she used a racial slur. The community is outraged.

It has been a tragic day for the black American community as well as all NBA fans around the world, and it just got a little sadder. While MSNBC reporter Alison Morris was reporting their tragic death she uttered what sounded like a racial slur.

Did you know?

Morris kind of brushed over her alleged slip of tongue while live on air and then responded to the outrage that followed on Twitter.

“Earlier today, while reporting on the tragic news of Kobe Bryant’s passing, I unfortunately stuttered on air, combining the names of the Knicks and the Lakers to say ‘Nakers.’ Please know I did not & would NEVER use a racist term. I apologize for the confusion this caused,” Morris wrote on Twitter.

Her apology was not well received and many are demanding that the reporter resigns from her position at MSNBC.

Did Alison Morris say the N-word?

“It sound like you said ‘nakers’ it clearly sounds like the N-word with a G and hard R,” one user commented while sharing a video of the controversial broadcast.

Controversial right wing comedian and YouTuber, Mark Dice, chimed in saying that he believes that it was just slip of the tongue but that he does not feel sorry for her because her network is responsible for creating the ‘cancel culture‘ that exists today.

Dice’s response read: “MSNBC has helped create the Cancel Culture we’re living in, which has no regard for facts, or reasonable explanations, so I can’t say I feel sorry for you now that the mob is coming for you! Hows it feel to get a dose of your own medicine?”
