Netflix’s Castlevania gay intimate scene with Alucard bit rough some claim

Latest season of Netflix’s Castlevania contains a very graphic scene involving unprotected backdoor play and while some are praising the show for it others are outraged.

Netflix’s Castlevania has two kind of fans: ones who are generally just watch it because it’s an anime, and the others who have been fans since the original videogame.

Now the fan base has been divided after an episode in season 3 depicted the show’s anti-hero being graphically barebacked.

Billy D., author at One Angry Gamer, wrote a controversial piece about the Castlevania intimate gay scene and the internet responded in shock.

The author claimed that the only reason the scene exists in the anime is to force a far-left agenda upon people and that it forever taints the classic videogame character.

Netflix’s Castlevania gay intimate scene with Alucard is a bit rapey some claim.

When described, the intimate scene sounds more like rape: “He mounts Alucard in a missionary position while Alucard winces and cries, likely because there was no lubrication involved and the pain was too much for him to bear.”

It wasn’t long before people responded to Billy’s article on Twitter calling him homophobic, and in some cases even a Nazi.

While some are simply disregarding the criticism as a homophobic rant, others see a valid concern in depicting what appears to be rape in this episode.

“Let’s ignore, for a moment, the fact that Alucard is a male, even a straight male at that, the other twin came from nowhere and violently penetrated Alucard without lubricant or protection… if Alucard was a female there would be outrage. This is rape,” one user wrote.

“This is very concerning, even to the LGBTQ crowd. Imagine what kind of message this sends out to gay teens. It’s okay to have unprotected backdoor fun? This is very dangerous!”

The majority of people, however, are more annoyed with the fact that the show writer completely trashed the canon and lore. Alucard isn’t gay, and, on many occasions, has been described as a straight male, but for some strange reason the episode writer felt it was important to change that.

The writer of the controversial episode, Warren Ellis, even admitted to not really being a fan of — no less than even having ever played — Castelvania.

In an interview with Gizmodo Warren Ellis said, “there were certain pieces, I did cherry-pick from different bits of the games— so, if you’re extremely well-versed in Castlevania lore then you will see things you recognize being draw in from places in the canon. If, like me, you’ve never played the games, it won’t make a blind bit of difference to your enjoyment of the thing…I’m just making it up as I go along. It’s fine!”
