Casting for the next season of Australian Survivor has officially began and people can now apply online to be apart of the show.
There were supposed to be two seasons of Australian Survivor in 2020 but sadly production was halted due to lockdown. However, things are back in full swing at Network 10 as they are now casting for the next season.
Network 10 have commended casting and are seeking men and women of all backgrounds and locations around Australia to take part in the highly anticipated Australian Survivor 2021.
To be eligible to compete you need to be physically and mentally strong enough to survive in some of the toughest conditions ever experienced. You must be able to engage with others, be confident and be comfortable living in close quarters with strangers. And most of all, you need to be ready to play the game!
Earlier this year a source close to production told us that Network 10 has found a shooting location on one of the many beautiful islands off the Australian coast and the network aims to begin filming no later than March, 2021.
“They’ve settled on a location. Casting should start early February, so you should more about auditions later this month.” The source told us.
“Australian Survivor season 8 should premiere no later than August, 2021, with 9th season following shortly behind.”
It seems that our source wasn’t far off as they are now finally sending out a casting call for Australian Survivor 2021.
They also told us that the new season of Australian Survivor will be filmed on location right here in Australia. Network 10 confirmed this in February when they announced that new season would be filmed in Cloncurry, northwest Queensland.
“With its rich history and epic landscape that includes iconic red dirt, towering rock formations and spectacular fresh water dams, Cloncurry is the perfect place to really change things up,” a producer for the hit reality TV show said.
Australian Survivor 2021 will most likely air no later than October this year.
