Aquaman actress Amber Heard slammed for disrespecting Islam for posing braless in a see-through blouse while wearing a Hijab at Istanbul Mosque.
Amber Heard found herself — yet again — in the centre of controversy for an Instagram photo she believed was honouring Muslims. She’s now being slammed for disrespecting their religion and called fake.
While Heard is anxiously waiting for a verdict in the Johnny Depp vs The Sun libel case — a case which she most certainly wants her ex-hubby to lose — she is trying to win over some fans by means of virtue signalling… and is failing hard.
Aquaman actress travelling Europe during lockdown
While the world’s on lockdown with serious travel restrictions and people are struggling to make ends meet after losing their jobs, Amber Heard is using her wealth and influence to travel throughout Europe and take selfies.

One of the locations Amber Heard visited during her travels was a historic Mosque in Istanbul, Turkey.
“Spent the day wandering around the magic of Istanbul’s mosques and couldn’t be more in love with this gorgeous city,” Amber Heard posted on Instagram along with a photo of herself in Hijab while braless in a see-through beige blouse.
Breaks year-long Twitter silence to slam Micky journalist
Shortly after, Micky, a fellow Aussie pop-culture press, published an article about the online outrage Heard was facing for posting that picture.

“Amber Heard has no respect for religion or race as we’ve seen many times. Posted while touring a Mosque. Using a Hijab as a fashion accessory. Hair & neck showing and braless. She posted this before and took it down immediately but has now reposted,” one wrote on Twitter.
The article forced Amber Heard to break her year-long Twitter silence and respond.

Nope. Apparently whoever paid 4 this to b “written” wasnt paid enough. Ill make it easy(ier):
Mosques are real places. So are museums & churches. So are head scarfs (where they are sometimes required n order 2 visit). Mystery solved.
Amber Heard accused the Micky contributor, Catherine Armecin, of being being paid to write a hit piece on her all the while insinuating that she has no idea what she’s talking about.
“Mosques are real places. So are museums and churches. So are head scarfs (where they are sometimes required in order to visit). Mystery solved,” Heard responded.
The reply implies that she was not trying to respect or honour Islam by wearing a Hijab — or a “head scarf” — but was forced to wear it when she visited. However, she did not address the criticism of wearing a see-through blouse while being braless leading many to believe that she was, indeed, virtue signalling for clout and support.
Whether Amber Heard actually meant to disrespect Muslims or is just ignorant when it comes to other countries and cultures still remains a question. However, one things for certain; she has no respect.
Dog smuggler and virtue signaller
Amber Heard was busted falsifying documents so she could smuggle her two dogs in to Australia well knowing how strict our animal import and quarantine laws are in order to protect our unique wildlife.

This is also not the first time Amber Heard has staged a virtue signalling selfie. During the Black Lives Matter protests she shared a picture of herself posing and pretending to be in the middle of the streets where, in fact, the photo was staged. She had her film director friend dress up as a cop for the shoot even.
Amber Heard hasn’t been cast in many films after the Johnny Depp incident. She is set to star in a low budget indie film called Run Away With Me next year, but her role as Mera in Aquaman 2 is still not confirmed.
