Quarantine can certainly can have a devastating effect on one’s mental health; being locked up inside while slowly watching your bank account drain to pay for the bare necessities while the future of your employment is in question… it can be really depressing… Ashley Tisdale discusses this in her underwear.

The actress who earned her fortune and fame playing the villainess in the classic Disney channel film series High School Musical is feeling the sting of isolation.

Ashley Michelle Tisdale, 34, has been doing what she can to keep herself mentally active to fight off depression during lockdown. Earlier last month she shared a TikTok of herself doing the classic ‘We’re In This Together’ dance from High School Musical which went viral. Even other cast members joined in.

But today Ashley Tisdale talked about her mental health and how she is exercising less and focusing on her mental well-being more.

“I have to be honest, I haven’t really worked out that much because I’ve been really focused on my mental health during this quarantine. I’ve been doing a lot of meditation and yoga and trying not to judge myself. Even though I wish sometimes I had the energy to kick ass and do abs I have to say I still feel sexy, I still feel beautiful and the best part is I think I love myself more,” Ashley Tisdale shared on Instagram.

We agree, Ashley looks stunning! Ashley Tisdale looks as beautiful as ever, even in her underwear! However yoga and stomach crunches — even though it is not necessarily gym stuff — is still a form of physical exercise, and exercise is very important to one’s mental health.

The US National Library of Medicine National Institute of Health did a study that proves exercise improves mental health by reducing anxiety, depression, and negative mood and by improving self-esteem and cognitive function. Exercise has also been found to alleviate symptoms such as low self-esteem and social withdrawal.

So, remember, although it is important to focus on your mental health, doing just a little bit of exercise, even yoga, can really help!
