Beloved comedian and actor Jerry Stiller, best known for his role in Zoolander, Seinfeld, and King of Queens has sadly passed away at 92.
Jerry’s son, Ben Stiller, took to Twitter to share the heartbreaking news that his father had passed away from natural causes this Monday.
“I’m sad to say that my father, Jerry Stiller, passed away from natural causes. He was a great dad and grandfather, and the most dedicated husband to Anne for about 62 years. He will be greatly missed. Love you Dad,” Ben Stiller said in a tweet.

Jerry Stiller started his career in the 1950s alongside his wife Anne Meara but it wasn’t until the 90s that the comedian got his break as Frank Costanza in the cult classic TV show Seinfeld.
He played the role of George Constanza’s, played be Jason Alexander, high-strung father. Jerry Stiller earned an Emmy nomination in 1997 for his role in the hit television series, Seinfeld.
After Seinfeld, and at the age of 70, Jerry Stiller played the role of Kevin James’ father in The King of Queens.

After his wife died in 2015 Stiller wrote an autobiography entitled, “Married to Laughter,” that documented 50-plus years of wonderful marriage to Meara. Meara and Stiller were considered a top-notch comedy act in the 1960s, appearing on “The Ed Sullivan Show” about 36 times.
Jerry also supported his son’s film career and even starred in several of his films, the noticeable one being the hit comedy “Zoolander,” in 2001.
Ben Stiller’s father, Jerry, lived a long happy and successful life and he will be remembered as one of the world’s greatest comedians.
